  • Represented a private label manufacturer against the patent infringement claims asserted by a global consumer products manufacturer and patent holder.
  • Prosecuted and defended patent infringement cases on behalf of a company and an inventor of a sophisticated manufacturing product.
  • Represented patent holder in patent infringement disputes involving EDM wire against a Taiwanese manufacturer and a U.S. distributor.
  • Represented a patent holder manufacturer in an international patent dispute including litigation in the U.S. and arbitration before the German DIS in Frankfurt concerning the construction of terms of a patent licensing agreement.
  • Defended licensor, company and film director in alleged trademark infringement case brought against its Hollywood blockbuster movie and related products and promotions by a professional wrestler. 
  • Ohio counsel for licensor against trademark violations including counterfeit products and performances, involving 100 lawsuits for trademark infringement and unlicensed use of trademark.
  • Represented U.S. firearms manufacturer in the “Cincinnati Gun Litigation” brought by the city against the largest firearms manufacturers, and crossbow manufacturer in product liability matters. 
  • Arbitration before the American Arbitration Association involving employment contract termination, business valuation and contract interpretation seeking millions of dollars in damages.
  • Seven-day arbitration before the American Arbitration Association involving multimillion dollar fee dispute, legal malpractice and patent issues.
  • Ohio coordinating counsel for leading manufacturer of gasoline containers involving explosions and fires.
  • Defended metal fabricating facility in claims that its 60-year continuous use of the land resulted in ground water contamination of an adjoining neighborhood.
  • Represented oil company concerning contamination and remediation cleanup from underground storage tanks.
  • Served as national coordinating counsel for foreign pharmaceutical manufacturer of over-the-counter drug in multidistrict litigation.
