Debbie knows how to look for real estate title issues - a distinction that makes all the difference to property owners. 

This gives clients confidence that the property they are purchasing is suitable for its intended use and that there will not be any surprises during development or upon a later transfer. Debbie understands the title process and has conducted due diligence analysis on hundreds of properties, recognizing early on and resolving title problems and zoning issues, such as liens, complications, encumbrances, or claims that might exist on the property.

Debbie assists buyers and sellers in the acquisition, disposition, and development of commercial and residential property. She provides counsel to property owners and lenders with respect to borrowing and refinancing transactions. Her experience includes assisting creditors’ rights counsel with respect to:

In addition to her corporate transaction and real estate experience, Debbie counsels clients on compliance matters related to the Fair Housing Act (FHA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). She also counsels educational institutions on complying with laws related to individuals with disabilities.
