with a focus on education

Diem represents private schools in various matters from general and premises liability issues to child molestation claims. She provides counsel on legal education to management companies and non-profit organizations operating charter schools, and assists charter schools in the development of governance structures. Diem has litigated significant matters involving administrative procedural issues and substantive issues relating to the eligibility of entities to qualify for sponsorship of charter schools.

when skill matters

  • Successfully arbitrated consumer liability and contract dispute for automobile dealership involving clear liability avoiding punitive damages award and attorney's fees.
  • Drafted winning motions for summary judgment in consumer and contract disputes for automobile dealership, and in million-dollar negligent security case.
  • Successfully litigated premises liability cases involving construction defects relating to handicap ramps, roofs, entrance/exit areas, walkways, hurricane shelter, including a $3 million construction of commercial building matter.
