“When the clock is ticking, time counts. We don't waste a minute when negotiations, due diligence, and risk/reward analyses hang in the balance.”

Lisa is one of the few attorneys in the country with extensive experience in the formation, grant application, and certification of de novo and Community Development Financial Institutions.

With her comprehensive understanding of financial services, Lisa knows precisely how to successfully structure, negotiate and document commercial loan transactions and workouts. Her extensive experience in the lending industry enables her to design practical and creative solutions for financial institutions facing today's regulatory, compliance and economic challenges.

Prior to joining the firm, Lisa served as Assistant Vice President and Senior Counsel at AmTrust Bank in its Commercial and Construction Loan Division. At AmTrust, she was responsible for advising management on the bank's assets in locations nationwide, including Illinois, Florida, Michigan and Nevada.

Lisa's experience also includes forming one of the first non-profit corporations dedicated to providing and improving the quality of child care available to low income families. The corporation, for which Lisa served as general counsel, was initially funded by grants from municipalities and private foundations, and received national attention with plans to establish similar entities throughout the country.

Sharing her knowlege of community development issues, regulatory and compliance matters, and the New Markets Tax Credit program, Lisa often presents to bank associations, regulatory agencies, and non-profit groups.
