Years of courtroom experience combined with strong business sense is the foundation on which Paul builds strategies to avoid litigation when possible, and to win litigation when necessary.
Paul utilizes his knowledge in commercial litigation to produce strategies aimed to achieve clients' goals. He contends with multidistrict litigation, mass tort, and class actions involving business, environmental, product liability, insurance, and real estate matters often comprised of regulatory compliance associated to environmental issues. Having prior experience as a litigation claims adjuster for a large insurance company, Paul understands, recognizes and makes use of the strategies and tactics employed on behalf of, and against, insurers.
With success, Paul has handled cases in numerous states, federal jurisdictions, and foreign countries. He appears before juries and arbitrators, including AAA arbitration, prepares briefs and arguments at the federal and state appeals and supreme court levels, and has personally taken thousands of depositions of fact and expert witnesses. Paul is licensed in California and is currently pursuing bar membership in Nevada.
